Eric Bowers has a passion for helping people build successful relationships with themselves and with others. As a workshop facilitator, relationship coach and the author of Meet Me In Hard-to-Love Places: The Heart and Science of Relationship Success, Eric brings together the theories and tools of Nonviolent Communication, Attachment Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Shadow Work.
Eric is also the singer and songwriter for The Next Small Thing. He can be found playing the didgeridoo and drums for ecstatic dance events or singing his heart out at his Inquiry In Concert events, which involve audience members exploring in dyads what it means to be human between Eric’s performing of his songs. Many of his songs are about the challenges, transformations, and beauty that come from meeting himself and others in the hard-to-love places. Dance, rites of passage, permaculture farming, and community building are some of the other ingredients in Eric’s ongoing experiment in coming alive.
Lucca and Rebecca explore how Eric came to focus on relationship theory, how his collaborative home(farm)space impacts his outlook and engagement in life and work, and where he’s heading next!
