There’s an adage that goes “you can’t fix a problem with the same mind that created it.” When we find a deep rooted problem, then, how can we become deliberate about finding and creating a solution that will work – rather than just a band-aid for the symptoms?

Rebecca is about to launch a new project in Vancouver aimed at providing relief to the most vulnerable people impacted by the rental crisis in the city. Lucca and Rebecca take some time to talk strategy about problem solving in general, and then dive into the specifics of the Blossom Co-Housing Project.

There’s a concept that comes up in almost every conversation about deep things that Lucca and Rebecca have – and that’s boundaries. Today they focus directly on exploring boundaries – their ins and outs, their whys and wherefores. They are intangible and sometimes inscrutable – but pulling back the layers can help us all to apply them more effectively and health-fully in our lives.

The world has felt like it’s on a bit of a rollercoaster for the last long while, and Lucca and Rebecca have been feeling it not only on the societal level, but the personal level. In today’s episode we take time to dig under the sources of the chaos, and what we can learn from previous times of chaos in our personal and world history. How might this actually be serving us? How can we ride this rollercoaster without getting thrown off?

We’ve got a big streak of community-building and love for community in us. Today we talk about some of the bumps of community: when collaboration is desired, but elusive; when compromise seems only to make everyone dissatisfied; when forward movement seems to be at the cost of someone else. How do we navigate the complexities of what being in community looks like?
