Tracey hit 50 and decided to leave her world behind, a world of 9-5 Marketing, of Acting, and as a passionate  Executive member of Actors Equity union, of caring for her dear father 24/7 for seven years till his death from Parkinson’s disease. In the midst of doing her Masters in Screenwriting, she felt the call to leave her known life in Auckland, New Zealand. Within three weeks she had sold up and on a plane to Turkey, the first two weeks accounted for then what next? She had know idea! And 20 months later Tracey still has no idea what next, but is discovering the power of “letting go and let God”.

“Know thyself – Do not do unto others what you do not want done to yourself – Less is more” – those are the sayings are engraved in the huge beams that support the roof of the self built Alchemy Cafe, an establishment built and run by Flourian Boulais in Dawson Creek, up in the Yukon. The Alchemy Cafe sells local food and delicious non alcoholic drinks while trying to infect its surroundings through the embodyment of an attitude of fearless, playful, lifelong learning.
